Moonqueen is as creditable as a one legged cat trying to bury a turd on a frozen pond

there is a possibility some episodes could be public domain or un-registered after 1963, for the following reasons

episode did not contain a copyright notice or a valid copyright notice or it contains a valid copyright notice but was never registered in USCO

so to answer your question yes there is a possibility they could be public domain or un-registered episodes

you would have to view each episode to determine status

Thank you for the info and reply.

I read that this 1960's show entered public domain Jan. 1, 1992. I would love to find episodes that are PD.

I'll have to do some research once I can get the list of episodes and see if can find any copyright information.

If anyone should happen across any info, please keep me posted.

Also, as for 1960 shows go, Shotgun Slade has some episodes that entered PD so I can see how some from the 60's might be PD based upon your explanation.

Thank you for the help. I appreciate it.

My stance on uploading to the archive is fairly simple. If you know it is copyright, do not post it. If you can check it yourself, do so. If you believe it is PD, have seen information suggesting it is PD and it is not on the IA, my free advice is to post it. Every copyrighted film I have seen uploaded here was removed if the copyright owner requested it be taken down.
It is disturbing to know that a few entities actually try to upload copyrighted materials here to damage the Archives reputation. So far they have failed. I'm sure the admins have better things to do, so don't be a trouble maker.
I do not work here but am a contributor.

I agree. If you know it is copyright, do not post. And, I feel the same about people uploading and trying to hurt the archives, just plain bad.

I'm not trying to upload though. Just interested in that show and it got me thinking since I didn't see any episodes in the archive so decided I would post to get some input from people that might know.

I like the archive as well as classic tv and films.

Thanks for your the reply.
